Answer:    Well first of all, if you were taking them to sustain you not get the headaches and your headache stopped later I have to wonder why you stopped taking them...they were working. Maybe I misunderstood your interview. Second, you should never stop taking that type of medication without the consent of your doctor because you probably needed to taper off the medication. Third,Amitriptyline is classified as an antidepressant even though it is used for several other things. That could be the reason you are feeling down and depressed next to some suicidal thoughts. Coming off an antidepressant suddenly is very harmful and can definitely cause you to hold all the symptoms you have programmed. You really need to talk to your doctor. It sounded approaching the medication was working. Sometimes when we start feeling better we reason we don't need the medication anymore but we are actually idea better because the medication is working. I would suggest that you get back on the medication. It will appropriate a couple of weeks for it to get back to a liberating level in your body but the quicker you win back on the dose your doctor prescribed for you then the quicker you will capture back to feeling approaching you did before you stopped taking them. I hope you feel better soon..
Amitriptylene can be used to treat depression as okay as other things, it is a sedative and used when experiencing sleeplessness. Stopping any medication without consulting your doctor is not a fitting idea. You can experience more side effects doing this.
your headaches may be a symptom of depression and the reality that you didn't have them is an indication the tablets were working.
Speak to you doctor.
Good luck.
Stopping them can effect your form, specifically more your mental health. As it's a drug commonly associated with depression and bi-polar disorders, stopping the drug will effect the stability of chemicals in your body. The problem is that people touch so much better on them, that they decide they don't need them anymore. The solely person who could make this outcome is your doctor.
My friend was on them for a while (until his condition deteriorated and changed medication only at the consent of his doctor). Amitripylene are in actual fact the safest thing to use in most cases because the side-effects are resourcefully known and not very hazardous.
My advice to you is to talk to your doctor roughly getting back on them slowly and next time you want to come bad them, consult your doctor again as you may need "weaned" off to avoid such effects again.
