Because I have a CPhT, I can't legally transmit you what to do because of the USA's new pharmacy advisement laws. But if I could, I'd make clear to you that it has a lable on the bottle, generally a year after the date the drug be made. I'd also say that it isn't because it's bad, but because the drug company can no longer guarantee the potency of the medication because of outside variables (what temp it's be stored in, was it within the light, etc).

Oxy 512 is Oxycodone 5mg to acetaminophen 325 mg. If I take two at a time (as most do) I'd be getting a full 650 mg. At that point, I'd avoid the tylenol adjectives together and just take the oxy as prescribed. I'd also phone my pharmacist the next day to discuss not dangerous alternatives to acetaminophen, like NSAID's or steroid based anti-inflammatory medication that I might find over the counter in creams if my pain isn't surrounded by the core of my body (say in a leg or hand and not my back).

But since I can't lawfully advise you on what to do, I can only relate you that that's what I would do... You'll have to choose for yourself.

all drugs own experation dates, but very few in actuality lose their capability i.e. they can still do what they do...but they do often lose their potency.

The sense we concern ourselves with mixing drugs is because of the hardwork the liver has to do to process out the unpromising stuff.

And we don't want to over tax the liver.

often doctors hold you take a pain murderer and say an anti inflamitory together...but both tylenol and oxi are pain killer..so they do the same thing contained by different ways.

So in truth I don't know the actual answer but i do know there are 800 numbers that enjoy nurse services and they can tell you more.
