Does this soudn commonplace to you guys. i turn rear to ortho on Friday and i plan to ask nearby as resourcefully...
so i had knee surgery on June 5th, and i basically finished rehab before i go stern for my8 week followup... and i have been released to do insubstantial cutting and to begin jog.. well today i did some sprints(stupid i know) which i followed with a couple of squats(also dumb) to see if i be to be cleared by the doc if i would be able to even attempt to cheer this season or not... anyway the sprinting caused some moderate aching because of the sudden cutting and direction changes. but when i be doing the squats(like the set for a basket toss) after my second one i began to grain pain and then when i go down for the third i felt something pop and since my knee have been hurting again(not severely but like a 6 or 7 out of 10) and i in actual fact had to take a niggle pill to try and ease the pain...the is some MINIMAL swelling but nil too severe or and not really worse then it has be since the surgery...
my question is should i tell the doc in the region of this "new" problem on friday or should i just let it turn...
also on my right(good) knee i have a outstandingly small knot on the back of my knees u can not see it but can feel it when my knee is completely extended... what could this be?
Answer: You owe it to yourself and the Doctor to make clear to him exactly what you did and the pain and popping of that knee. You're right when you said that you did a couple dumb things, you really did, and I would imagine you won't be cheering this year. Don't do another dumb thing and nick it upon your own to start regardless of what the Doctor and Therapist tells you. By what you said about the popping, you probably did some cartilage make worse. The knot you feel on the rear legs of your right knee is probably the beginning of a cyst that eventually will own to be drained.Do yourself a favor and lay off the cheering this year even if they tell you to progress ahead, which I doubt will they will. You're squats and sprints just undid the appropriate progress you were making, and maybe the surgery which be performed. I wish you the vastly best young lady and hope you didn't further wounded that left knee. Good luck..
detail him and ask
were not doctors i am curious to know what sort of knee surgery you have?
whatever the case, i would markedly tell your doc about this! it is pretty possible that you have done more damage or injured yourself. if you "agree to it go" and continue to push your body too hard, you could of course injure yourself if you did not already,
sorry to sound like a nag, but ACK! you own a lifetime to live in your body, listen to it when it tells you to backbone off and seriously consider the advice of those who enjoy experience in caring for problems similar to yours (like your doc). don't get hold of me wrong; i am not afraid of pain by any means, but you own to be wise about pushing yourself; you are too babyish to go messing up major joint and bringing on a lifetime of pain and trouble if you can avoid it.
patience and perseverence will bring you back in form and pay for to cheering more quickly than forcing it and causing yourself impair.
