**ENT experts** Pin prick holes contained by stub of ear waterway...?

My daughter has what appears to be two pinprick holes just inside the bottom of her ear canal contained by one ear, and one in the other. We saw the doctor last week who said she thought they looked like little scabs, however when slight pressure is put around them they ooze a waxy substance. My daughter also have very small ear canals (don't know if this is linked).

I've searched the internet for anything that sounds similar but I can't find a entry. I'm sure its nothing to worry about, but I would approaching to know what it is.

Any ideas? Please, no silly answers.
Answers:    Hey I hope I can help - you didn't mention whether she had a infection, or any other previous ear problems apart from small ear canal. So judging from what you have written there could be two possibilities. Blackheads can appear anywhere along the ear conduit, this could be a simple solution. Another condition called ear canal mastoid fistula may be the source of the holes in the ear. This is a pink condition that I've seen only twice (ENT nurse). It can be a defect from birth or due to a series of previous ear infections. This is related with vertigo and pain. If you haven't already done so get a referral to an ENT paediatric Otolaryngologist. Hope this help you and that you get a diagnosis soon. Source(s): ENT nurse

My body is super sore call for..

Small ear canals don't let substances drain from the inner ear. They catch trapped, infected, and your child has another ear infection.

My son had oodles of ear infections until at 15mo we got tubes. The ENT said that within was a gooey glue-type substance behind the ear drums. Without him draining it, and tubes being placed, my son would own had infections until he grew up.

I don't know anything at all about pinpricks. But I know my son have one ear infection in the 16yrs since then. And he learned how to reach a deal as soon as tubes went in.

This morning, on my process to work,..
