Fluid surrounded by my knees... counsel please!?
here's the long and short of it...
I have had constant fluid within my knee for some time now due to a topple. My ankle was severely sprained about 2 years ago, and while walking up a flight of stairs soon my ankle gave out, and I fell directly down on my knee... go to the doc, he said that I do have fluid, but not enough to verbs about removing at that time. So, over time my knee swelling and fluid go down, and my ankle has healed slightly. I still have some fluid and discomfort in both my knee and ankle (both ankle and knees injuries to the same leg, they ache and are larger surrounded by size vs. my other leg).
So fast forward to a couple weeks ago… I was doing rather dancing at a friends house (not really out of the ordinary) and I woke up the next sunshine and my knee is huge! Now, I was drinkin a tad… but not adequate to not remember a fall / verbs / pop or anything. So I iced & elevated it hoping the swelling would decrease, and it did, slightly.
Answer:
Ankle backache... no specific injury...support?
ok... if the swelling continues or causes u to loose when u walk then yes u should stir and see a specialist and maybe even get an MRI simply to be on the safe side but since u said that u had a premonition that ur knee wants to contribute out then i would make an appointment to capture ur knee looked at sooner rather after later cause u may own a torn ligament or even a torn meniscus.until u can get an MRI done stay off ur knees as much as possible and continue to ice and elevate...
