I was hit with a baseball within the head, hospital did a ct scan and said all be fine. could I have a fracture skull and not know it, would the ct scan show it
Answer: even if you did have a fracture theres nought they can do, the biggest thing they would be worried about is swelling, and a ct scan will show your swelling. you cant put a type on your noggin!
seriously if something was wrong you would swell, and lots of blood on the brain, you seam to be alright..
Yes you could have a fracture. Trust me on this win a MRI. A ct scan only shows so much. A MRI will show all. I have a ct scan on my head , they told me everything was fine, I requested a MRI it showed I enjoy a tumor in my left ear. Even though it's tiny as hell, but in a minute I know it's there. Be sure for yourself if nobody else. The ct scan would definitely show it... and more.
