Grapefruit and medication give a hand?
I take medication that apparently interacts with grapefruit and today, (not thinking), I have a glass of Fresca (grapefruit soda) Should I worry something like the effects? Or can I get away with a moment ago drinking a lot of water to flush it out?
Answer: I'd telephone your pharmacist to check. How the grapefruit juice will interact depends entirely on your medication, since it alters the ability to metabolize constant drugs and can cause proper doses to behave like overdoses. I'm afraid sea won't help, so best consult with an expert.
Edit: I checked Fresca's website, and they do schedule concentrated grapefruit juice as the 3rd ingredient in the beverage.
