I have heard of this up, to my understanding you have glutinous cartilage surrounding your ear.I am not an expert but sometimes it's necessary to reopen the hole until your ear gets used to it.
My mom is surrounded by her 60's and she couldn't keep an earring hole either, it's newly one of those things. But if you really are persistent I am sure that eventually your ears will stop fighting you.
it's a event of how much it's worth the trouble.
poking the ear once it's been closed really isn't that painful.. your ear hole hasn't grown hot skin it just has jetsam. I had to push my studs through twice after I got my ears pierced.
Ears really aren't designed for piercing they are meant for hearing so whenever we try something unnatural to our design we run into some trouble.
