Hard hurting lump on my fund?
I have a hard lump about the size of a pound coin. I've have a very small lump in that spot, but just contained by the last couple of days it has tripled in size and have become quite painful. Has anyone else had a lump similar to this? A lump that just suddenly grows and hurts? Do you think it could be serious?

I had exactly the same on my spine (middle back) a few years back. I enjoy always had a small lump there. All I can vote is it went down after a while and hasnt flared up since. Might be an ingrown hair, or just a pore thats infected. Ring NHS direct to put your mind at security, but Im sure it will be fine.

Why have you not call the doctor? Do it first thing in the morning you hear?you need to see your GP he is the solely one that can answer you may be a cyst so get an appointment asap
