Having surgery!?
I am having laproscopic surgery this month to remove my right ovary and tube. I have suffered give or take a few 4 years now with hurting cyst and have decided this is the best route to move about. Does anyone know what I can expect or will I be in pain. I am solitary 23 years old, is this the right decision?

The laproscopic surgery is in reality not that bad. Most of the time it's done as a day surgery, although sometimes they will save you overnight. You are given the anesthetic via the IV, and will just drift off to sleep resembling you do at night. The surgery shouldn't take but more or less an hour, and you will wake up in rescue with the nurse in your facade, asking all the usually stupid nursey questions. As soon as you are alert and can sip liquid, you usually get back to your regular room. Many times you capture back in time for a muted lunch. The poke holes in your lower abdomen won't hurt much at adjectives, and will have two or three stitches in respectively. There will be usually three little poke holes, not more than a half inch each. The worst of laproscopic surgery is the gas, and boy you will be aware of gassy. The gas is used to inflate the abdomen so there is room to see and work. Afterwards, well- gas must go beyond. In the meantime you feel the worst bloat you ever felt, approaching your own personal balloon. That is worse that the incisions. Those can be handled with Motrin usually. Nothing much help the gas, except- you get the picture, right? The more you move around and walk, the sooner that pass. It usually will go in a sunshine or so, depending on how much you move. You don't have to move fast, you don't hold to go on a jog- but you do need to be on your foot and moving, or at least wiggling a rational amount. As far as the decision, I'm usually a pretty pragmatic person. When something malfunction to the point that you have chronic pain, and it's kaput anyway- why not part company with it? It's not going to remodel obviously, and the only road to go is down, more pain, more misery. So yes, I surmise you are justified in the verdict. Everyone will mention that you will have a slightly harder time getting pregnant, but I can't honestly see that. I mean, the ovary isn't working now- so the solely real change will be that it also isn't cause pain anymore. I don't think it will really enjoy an effect on your fertility chances. By eliminating the problem, you might if truth be told better the chances- since you won't have chronic irritation and inflammation in the nouns either. Don't worry something like the pain from the surgery. The pain of the incisions is really minor- it's the gas to be exact the real booger, and that, as all things, pass. Good luck dear. I would doubt you need to have anything removed at your age, unless you enjoy some family history of ovarian or Fallopian cancers or other similar problems.Recovery will be a breeze. I get in a lazy boy next to a remote control in my own living room just hours after my surgery and permit everyone wait on me. Keep up on your pain meds, don't bring back constipated (pain meds will do this to you), and just rest for about three days. You'll be attitude pretty good by then. Good luck!

the mom wrote a book... iam merely going to say your doctor should know best . good luckIf your worried roughly whether this is the right thing to do than maybe you should capture a second opinion. You are going to have some misery, anytime a body part is taken out of your body you do. But really its according how high your strain tollerence is; just take it confident after your surgery. Laproscopic surgery isn't a biggie, just be thankful they don't own to open you up.
