Tendon or ligament injuries are very painful and can make deeds more difficult and painful, if you believe you have a tendon injury, please lift time off from your usual sports activities to give yourself time to restore to health so you dont do more damage. Put ice on your knee and alternate from rime to heat. This will help if done for a few days. Also try doing some LIGHT and GENTLE stretching to help the ligament and surrounding muscles. Dont over work yourself though and dont stretch too much as this can also make it worse and take longer to heal. Plenty of rest on the knees is key though.
Keep your knee on ice and take some over the counter spasm reducers. If the pain or swelling isn't less by tomorrow, you may want to consider seeing your physician who may recommend getting an x-ray.
