Another Sleep Question. :) How Can I Get To Sleep Earlier?

So, school starts on September 1st.. My issue? I start getting tired at about 6 or 7am every morning. I did not do this on purpose, I really can't minister to it! I sleep until 4pm, and the cycle continues..

I woke up at 11am yesterday morning. And then fell back asleep at 1pm-6pm because I couldn't stay up. I've tried lying in bed, Oh my god does that ever NOT work.

This even happen during school, but I'm usually in bed at 12am-1am, and awake at 7am.

Anything I should do? It's 4am here right now, lol.
I lately don't want this year to be like last. Waking up tired as heck, and sleeping in the middle of Math class, or individual late for school.

How many hours total do you sleep a hours of darkness? You need to sleep at least 7.5 hours, but more in your teens (some culture need 9 or even 11 hours of sleep). If you find you can't sleep that long all at once, split your sleep into two sections a daylight. Do one at night and then have a separate snooze that is about 90 minutes long (because that's how long a sleep cycle is). Then at night sleep for 6 hours (assuming you're going for 7.5). Try to set up a routine and stick near it. That means go to bed the same time respectively night. Wake up the same time each morning. Don't sleep contained by on weekends because it will just mess you up.

Also, eat a breakfast with both carbs and protein within it. That means that you can't just have cereal, you have need of something like milk or cheese or meat. Carbs give you quick life but you'll burn out later if you don't have proteins for slower/longer burning energy. Don't drink coffee on an unfurnished stomach because this will cause you burn up all your energy and crash.

You may also consider taking multivitamins if you don't already.
I've tried gusto drinks but those are horrible for you (I started to have high blood pressure). You should tried to stay up as long as possible, trust me its seriously harder than it sounds, keep yourself busy throughout the daylight even if your lazy or take a cold shower if you don't wanna do anything. Then when it gets to a constant time you would regularly like to sleep it should be easier because you have stayed up all darkness and day. Source(s): personal experience
