Please abet! something roughly speaking the doctors!?
ok, every year we have a doctors appointment after or before our birthdays right? well i never really fear anything about them but the one thing i was anxious of most and hated them most was the Popsicle stick! also known as the tounge depresser! :O
where on earth they have to push down your tounge and look in your mouth. it has be a childhood fear and to this day, it scares me whenever i hold a appointment soon. my doctor hasnt done it since i was about 10 but i keep thinking someday hes gonna estimate iv gotten older and think i could handle it and use it again! when i be younger, he would just try to use it by putting it into my mouth and saying "say ahhh!" right when he put it into my mouth i would get hold of is hand and try to pull it away. he would eventually give up and look through it next to the light thing. that thing would upset the crap outta me everytime! does anyone have any similar fears or the same as me, cause i really discern awkward about it! please answer nicely and honestly, thank you! ;)

Why don't you do it yourself (hold the stick on your tongue with your own hand and agree to him look in then)
If that doesn't work . . . . . . Shout "look a distraction!" and point at a window! when he looks make a run for the door!

I use to be the same opening. When i got older the doctor tried it again and i wouldn't let him, i solved the solution by using a tongue depresser on myself or self let a friend or parent do it. Once i got use to them do it i was not terrified anymore. Source(s): personal experience
yes i really HATE that too brandon but most of the time when i shift if i open my mouth REALLY REALLY wide and stick my tongue down they wont do the popsicle stick (idk how other docs will do though)
Yes, I have a fear of going to the doctor's. I other think they are going to give me a shot or something. But a few weeks ago I got 5 shots contained by my arm, and it didn't hurt!! And that's the first time that I didn't cry, so I'm pretty proud of myself. How old am I, and I'm still cry about getting shots...XD lol...wow. I mean, close to, different people are scared of different things so it's pretty normal if you're alarmed of that until now. :D Anyways, just tell your doctor that you aren't comfortable and ask him if there's another opening to do that throat thingy. I hate doctors, no affence to doctors here on Y! but I always think they are going to transmit me something is wrong with me....(which I'm not scared of I just loathe the fact of it happening one day). Thus, when I come out of the clinic (or whatever), I'm fine...so much for hating... By the instrument, we, well I don't, have the before-birthday-check-up. I have it formerly school, we have to give my academy a blue and yellow form saying we are healthy :D

i HATE needles and that thing they use to swab the inside of your mouth to testing 4 strep.. *Shudders* doctors...

it sounds like you have a suspicion of people or things being put in your mouth next to out your action
(ie, someone else putting something in your mouth)
or the fear of choking
