3 night ago my knees feel sore. i thought i slept wrong but in a minute 3 days subsequently i cant even straighten it.?

i didnt even do anything. no pops or grinding or that "sand in your joints" feeling. i can walk beside a limp and its not swollen. its so weird.
Answers:
ice it for a moment or two while, and elevate it while you are sleeping. do some exercises every once in a while to help you straighten it. if it still hurts in a week run to the orthapedist.
