I cut my foot on the shore final week, why does the unharmed foot hurt?
it was on a broken bottle burried in the sand and was outstandingly deep, 2 stitches to the muscle and 11 more including 5 that need removing next week, plus a dozen steri strips. it is on the right outskirts of my right foot and then bend under to the sole like a nike tick! it really hurt as did the treatment, but it is doing ok immediately, however i still can't walk as i get pins and needles in the complete foot that varies between annoying and painful at the slightest pressure. do you know why this is and if its normal and what can give support to? i have 2 under 5s to take prudence of and can only hop! ps no signs of infection. thanks!

try and stay off your foot as it heal ..sounds like a major injury..feet other take longer to heal just because they lug so much of the pressure you dont notice untill youve hurted one...the pins and needles sound like bravery damage tell your doctor about this its possible that you may enjoy severed a nerve but it might just be restricted blood flow as it heals..hope you win better soon hard staying off it when you got kids but try
whenever something hurts, your body is telling you that something is wrong which is true. your foot is still recovering so you should move carefully. as you muscle had stitches the unharmed muscle is reacting to the injury. in other words telling u that here is something wrong. hope you get better soon.
the more you rest the quicker it will get better as u give your body time to treat. Source(s): my mum injuring herself in the beach.
well i'm guessing that because it be a very deep cut and u needed stitches in the muscle as in good health as your skin layers, that you have damaged the nerves within your foot
that explains why its sore and why it feel pins and needles, u usually get pins and needles when ur nerves and muscles have no blood supply or because you've tattered them
they'll take longer to heal up, so be patient. If skin grows into a scab within 1-2 weeks, think how long would it take a thick covering of muscle and nerves to re-join and heal :)
quite a long time.. :)
i'd say it won't be fully better until a polite few months after
