5 mg of Valium 2 x's a light of day (morning and night) 1 vicodon 500 mg a light of day after I procure up and start moving.?
I had a laminectomy (sp?) for a herniated disk 3 months ago. I worry I may become addicted., but I also feel I stipulation what I am taking. Do you think I am over worrying? I went through 2 months physical therapy and they told me I have a high pain tolerance and most people beside my tightness and immobility that usually the pain is higher. I always mostly a moment ago feel achy.
(i don't take the Vicodin every day possibly 5 times a week)

First of all, there is a big difference between addiction and dependence. Most likely if you lift any narcotic often you will become dependent on it, but that does not mean you are addicted. Addiction is taking it for fun, to get soaring, and taking more then you were prescribed for reasons other consequently pain. I wouldnt worry. Just make sure to bring up anything beside your doctor if you have questions, or any concerns.
Pain medication isnt ment to make you spasm free, but to bring you from a 9-10 to a 2-3. I still have aches and I take Opana ER, 10 mg, twice a hours of daylight. I wish I was totally pain free, but I quality the amount of medication I would have to take for that would be quite a bit, and I dont want to become more dependent next I already am.

If you are aching free with Valium alone, I think there is no entail for Vicodin. But if the pain persists, I think that's the time to pinch it. These two drugs have strong potential for abuse, so I think you can taper down the concentration as you turn better, I mean if the pain is tolerable. If you are afraid of dependence, you can ask your doctor for another pain reliever that would bestow a satisfying analgesic effect but won't make you get addicted. I hope this help.
