Why can't i put pressure on my knees?

the back outside (lateral) part of my knee give away when i trying lunging,
it hurts to put pressure on it walking up stairs and it hurts to put pressure on it on the elliptical and biking
i did not have any recent fall/injury, nor do i have swelling
i run 3days a week and bike 4days a week.
i also do the egg-shaped every other day.. but why is this randomly happening?
also, if i touch it it feel slightly bruised.
and i've recently been trying to strength my legs.. so could that have anything to do next to it putting too much weight on it?

um lets see here maybe u sprain it or like u run too much and if your a womanly your hips are wider so it pulls your knee cap away and it makes it hurt!!

what u own to do is strengthen your knee by doing knee exercises that u can get from a shrink

i have just this minute torn my miniscus, which is the cartelage like tissue holding your knee cap to your knees.
usually you cant see much bruising or swelling, but you can deffinantly feel it. it also releases liquid into your knee. and it doesnt "ooze" or anything, dont worry(:
i suggest you stay bad of it for a while, but dont take too much caution, cus it can only restore to health itself.
I would go see the doc.
Probably strained your knee but I would go see a doctor a short time ago in case.
no. if your exercising that much a day you can hurt your muscle. mabey like if you be to pull a muscle. Ik body builders do a lot of workout but they also take meds and steriods too. soo of late dont put so much stress on your body by doing so much excersise. Its not healthy :]
