Should I resent my doctor for not giving me the medication I want?

My primary doctor won't give me any more medication that I've been on for 4 years(not even a tapering plan) because he found out I be getting more from other doctor, does he have the right to not give me anymore? Why do I feel so resentful towards him?
Answers:
He doesn't just enjoy the right. He has an obligation, He is supposed to report you, and tell the other doctor. He may choose not to do this because it could capture "sticky" . If you feel you are being wronged, go to another doctor. MJ's doctor give him the meds he wanted, now The doctor is up for murder.
Yes, he has the "right" to refuse to prescribe to you a medication he has source to believe you have been abusing.

You cannot do what you did. You enjoy no reason to feel resentful towards your doctor. You were wily with him.

I'd probably drop you as a patient altogether.
Yes he does. If the medication you are taking is considered to be addictive, afterwards he would consider you to be seeking drugs and has the right to stop administering them.
By law, doctors are not supposed to prescribe drugs to addicts of prescription drugs. (ie: vicodin, prozac, valium, morphine, etc).
If this is the travel case, you may need to look at the relationship you have with your medication. That could be why you're inkling resentful.
He can do that. Your mad because you get caught and can't have things your way.
