A scoliosis cross-question...PLZ ANSWER?
I had the surgery to fix my scoliosis this past wed and they did most of my back. I'm home immediately and I was wondering how long it's going to take before the anguish goes away and I won't need pain meds again.

I don't know how long it can take to treat something that didn't need surgery. If they had released your muscles that were tight it would hold taken care of everything. Instead they must be paying off student loans yet.
The first 6-8 weeks are the worst pain wise i be on pain killers for around that amount of time, but it will fade but will take longer for it to stir from between the shoulder blades as we use our arms so it takes a bit longer for it to go from there,
and after 6-8weeks it lately goes and the pain will be a distant memory.
Its a severely major operation , your muscles were torn apart and body parts reshaped and organs move and your body is shut down for the operation.Take your time and dont rush the recovery process!!
