nowadays you can sue anyone
What you want is a lawyer that specializes in workman's compensation cases. The law contained by each state varies so without knowing where on earth you are it is impossible to know what that might be. Usually most states have a time line that is present previously you can change doctors. At ten months you should have crossed most states time lines and with the right legal representative be sent to a doctor that is favorable to you. The lawyer will be looking for a doctor that is call plaintiff friendly or simply put someone that will be more sympathetic to your case than someone that is defense oriented, not favorable to you. Your legal representative will ask to go before a judge and constraint that your wife have the procedure and with even doctors that are working for the state workman's comp board agreeing that one is needed it should be an open and shut travel case.
