Do i own a fractured rib?
Well, a few days ago i was leaning on the science door cuz it was raining and i be tired and when my teacher opened the door i fell back on my but...at first i have a laugh and a sore but, but i felt ok. Just today my lower rib's been hurting, approaching when i cough (i got a cold) and when i move or turn it aches and its like a sharp stabbing misery. Is it bruised or could it be fractured? How long does it take to heal and is there anything i can do for the cramp? Thnx :-)

As ou get pain only when you turn, nearby is no possiblity of fracture.If it is fracture you get continuous pain. It may be ligament problem
or may be due to hair file crack. Take complete rest for three / four days and if the pain persists please consult an Ortho Doctor. Source(s): own
Whether it is fractured or not makes no difference how it will be treated. There's no imprint for a fractured rib. Unless you have trouble breathing, I wouldn't worry.
