I got a sore scratchy throat about 2 days ago and at the same time i started getting headache here and there. The headaches arent bad and I can still swallow and speak its of late scratchy. I get thirsty alot more too. I don't feel dizzy like i'm going to go past out I just don't feel well. No coughing or sneezing but i do hold to blow my nose here and there. And sometimes my boyfriend leaves the AC on. Do i just hold a summer cold?

The Air conditioner is probably drying the air and cause your symptons.

I think you're right. You have a summer cold. The scratchy throat and nausea could be from a post nasal drip during the night. Have you tried taking Benadryl past you go to bed? That might put a stop to all of it. It will make you even more thirsty than you are though. I hope you be aware of better soon. Source(s): been there/am there
