Do I hold shin splints?
I jog about 5 times a week for half an hour. When I run I get a pain in adjectives around my legs, especially my shins and knees, and when I walk down the stairs, I get a pain similar to muscle strain in my shins and my legs feel shaky, and I also have a niggle at the side of my thighs. I haven't jogged for a few days but I have still been walking. Can you be aware of shaky and get a pain when you stand up if your muscles are strained? I am a bit of a hypochondriac so is this all muscle discomfort from jogging?

Shin splints generally are localized to the shin bone. The pain is awful, but it's lately in the shin. You sound like you are have various muscle pains, so I am asking if you are jogging in really apposite supportive shoes. You just can't have to much support to absorb the impact of the foot pounding the knotty pavement. If you have good, well cushioned shoes for jog, put gel inserts inside of them. They will also act as shock absorbers. Now that you have your footwear set up properly, see what happens when you run the next time. Quit jogging. All of that at odds is wear and tear on your shins. Some people can jog interminable and no pain, but others really feel the burn. You can walk briskly beside the same effect. Sketchers just came out next to a new tennis shoe, with a funky sole, to help your posture, and proportioning your freight. Give those a try, and don't run unless somebody is chasing you.
