Why are you stripped in your birthday suit & exposed when the EMT brings you to the hospital?
A few months ago I had the most horrific experience. We were in a unpromising car accident in Canada where on earth I suffered a fractured left arm, dislocated pelvis, bruised ribs and a mild cuncussion. I don't remember the accident so much but I do remember waking up within the ER at the hospital with an oxygen mask on my face and have all my clothes cut away including my underwear and all my jewely removed. I remember hearing plentifully of talking and being touched all over. I could remember consciousness that there was an IV my arm and tubes inside my vagina and anus and was cold from still individual completely naked on the table. In ICU I was at least covered near a sheet but still naked underneath. My family came to see me during my recouping and I was humiliated that they could tell I was nude. Is this common Hospital practice to treat patients this way? I'm now at home still recovering from the injuries and the hospital ordeal. Just thinking fund to it is starting to make me cry :'-(

Your clothes sre removed before you acquire to the hospital so the medical personnel don't have to waste time cutting away your clothes to endow with you the IVs and catheters you need to save your life.
You should be thank them, instead of worrying about your modesty.
They have to make sure you don't have any protruding bones, cuts, reflective bruises, and other such injuries. They can't see through your clothes and to carefully remove them might cause an injury to become worse. So they cut off your clothes and they really don't concern what you look like naked, they have see hundreds of naked people.
And it's better to be alive and a little flushed than permanently disabled or dead.
Due to the extent of your injuries, it was necessary for adjectives clothing, etc. to be removed. If you simply had a bump on the head, that would have be different. But with a dislocated pelvis, the possibility of severe internal injury was very indisputable. The tubes would have been catheters, etc. to carry body fritter away away from your injuries to prevent infection. In ICU, with a dislocated pelvis and rib injuries, it would have been exceedingly risky to turn you and lift you enough to put a gown on you. Any movement too strenuous could have possibly cause spinal cord injury or internal injury from the displaced bones.
Try not to think about it. The hospital did everything right. Your family merely cared that you were alive. You are the only one who is concerned that you didn't hold clothes on. They probably don't even remember that.
