Agonising Chest Pains!?

Hello, I have been having agonising chest pains for the end 9-12 months on the left side of my chest, I went to the doctors and he said it was chosto condritis and if i took indisputable pills it would disappear within a week and i didnt have to take them as it usually cleears up pretty like greased lightning by itself.

So i took the tablets however the pain was still there and it still is 4 months next, i get it everyday day - couple of days. It is an agonising pain and can later up to half an hour. I was out shopping with my mum today and ii get it in the shopping centre. I nearly passed out i was contained by so much pain but i dont know what it can be as i have had it for so long. I meditate i should go back to the doctors but i hate them so much i dont know why lately do so i thought i would try on here first see if anyone had any suggestions.

It is the worst pain i have ever feel before.

Thankyouu

That's so horrible.
You should switch doctors.
I go to the doctor for the same thing, and they said that i have it too. They told me i should try taking an anti-inflammatory, close to advil. And if you already are then you really should go back to the doctor, I don`t know try a new doctor if you don't like your current one.
Sophie, (I adore your signature BTW.) Might I suggest that you make an appointment to see a Cardiologist if that isn't the type of doctor you've previously seen. And secondly, I would NEVER return to a doctor who misdiagnosed me. This doctor sounds a little quack-ish... I would want to know exactly why this developed and confirmation from a second doctor that the first doctor's diagnosis be indeed correct. I'm not comfortable with that diagnosis since you are still experiencing such severe pain. Please be ambitious about seeing a Cardiologist as soon as you can...and bear a copy of your records from the first doctor so you're not paying for repeat testing that might not be necessary. I yearning you all the best! :0)
Go back to the doctor.
Although costochondritis usually does clear up on its own, sometimes it is an indicator of another illness. If self-care isn't handing it, it's markedly time to go back to the doctor or to a new doctor. It doesn't nouns like this one helped you very much. Here's what Mayo Clinic say about it:
