Social deposit has been an object of madness for years now, if they need to they can raise the boater on income and end this new round of 'panic'.
In fact, Medicare isn't going broke any for the same reason.
I do like what Obama is trying to do, its going on for time we had a president who wants to do something for us and not just nurture the rich guys even more.
But don't try to frighten people with this or pretend that its just happen in six months of an Obama presidency. We had problems with form insurance companies since at least Clinton and Bush never even raised the issue except to make his pharmaceutical friends cheerful.
This problem goes back since at least eight years ago, Obama might not finish it, but at least possible he's out there swinging.
Social security has been almost entirely screwed since its inception. The opinion that a younger generation should pay for the older social group is retarded! If the money that we pay for social security went for OUR OWN retirement, the world would work better. Just resembling if OUR insurance paid for OUR car in a wreck, not someone elses!
if ya think something like it;; I have paid SS all my working energy;; no matter how the govt decides to budget this monies, it's still money that was taken away for when I hit 65;; sorta close to an "investment plan";; so paying for other generations resolved from the mixing up of monies & not attributing it to what it's purpose was;; now, speech about medicare, this used to be a "policy" also paid into from ea paycheck received in a lifetime of work, USED to cover adjectives med expenses for the 'retired", now has gone "commercial", or people enjoy to pay a monthly expense for it;; so how on earth do you think that this "plan" is gonna be "better" than the plans already put surrounded by place;; it WILL change because the politicians & lobbyists have to take their grab too.. much like the "college savings plans" in which rules condoning the disbursement of these accounts have "changed" since implementation...yeah, "CHANGE", now I'm truly understanding the objective...
