How do you mix hot milk near honey?
i know that sounds a little bit stupid, but i have had problems near sleeping this whole month... if you know how to sleep better, please also include this, thanks!
Answers:
Warm milk supposedly contains tryptophan (sorry, the spelling's incorrect) which is the same piece turkey has that makes you sleepy. But milk actually doesn't own that in it any more, from what I've heard, due to the processing the milk goes through.
Exercise roughly speaking 2 hours before bed, take a warm tub with lavender after that. Chamomile tea also helps many race. Most importantly, turn off all devices (Ipod, TV, cellphone, computer) and listen to the silence for 30 minutes before bed, or read a non-fiction book (Fiction tend to have the same effect as TV).
Of all the things planned, I would say exercise is the most important, followed by quiet. Your brain requests to rest and gear down, and your body won't feel relaxed if it hasn't been busy.
Heat up the milk... either contained by microwave or on stove. Careful, it'll be hot. Then add desired amount of honey. I usually add no more than a tablespoon. You don't wanna make it too sweet. Source(s): Experience
