Can anyone sustain me carry some nouns?

Okay, so here's the thing. I was making an espresso earlier. When it finished brewing, I turned it stale and realized I hadn't made enough. So I twisted open the lid to try to put more hose in. When I did, steam rose, the lid flew off hitting my arm, and the steam scorched my mitt. I put my hand in cold water, and I've gone through two rime packs with my hand completely wrapped to hold on to the ice packs firmly against my hand. But still whenever I clutch the ice packs off to switch them, the heavens hits my hand and burns it like crazy. My hand's red, and it feels approaching it's burning and stinging. I'm going insane. Does anyone know of anything that will make this infernal burning stop? I'd really appreciate any help I can get. Thanks contained by advance...and before you say anything, yeah, I know, genuine genius move there...but hey in my defense I'd be chasing my two kids around trying to get them out of stuff (they're 3 and 1), I was exhausted, and I was within desperate need of caffeine so I could do damage control on the house while the kids took their nap. So, please PLEASE enjoy pity on me in my moment of dimwittedness and help! LOL! Thanks.
Answers:
You need to apply a burn cream or at the severely least aloe vera, this will help with the burning and stinging. You can pick these up at any drug store or Walmart. The blatant BEST product on the market is something called: Watkins Salve. I don't know if it's carried in stores contained by your area but you can purchase it online...The Watkins Company sells spices, and other natural remedies. Definitely worth purchasing.
