Thick leathery skin from sunburn?

The other day I was out in the sun and forgot to reapply sunscreen to my facade. My face was pretty red and most of it faded like it customarily would after a few days but the skin on my nose and the top part of my forehead is still slightly redder than the rest of my face and it feel tough and leathery. Is there anything I can do to make this skin heal and how long will it clutch to get better?
Answers:
You should use an aloe gel, or aloe lotion. This soothes burnt, dry skin. It might make the skin strip, but ultimately it will make it look and feel better. usually after two or three days your skin will be back to ordinary. A word of warning, don't wear aloe products out in the sun, because it attracts it.
Lavender water is soothing and help moisturize the burnt skin. Don't overload your burns with lots of gels or creams.
