I enjoy a bruise the size of a dime on the spinal column of my calf, could it be a blood clot?
The back of my calf was hurting and when I looked I saw a round purple bruise the size of a dime. My leg hurts more today, like a cramping consistency where the bruise it - it could just be a bruise but how can I tell if it is a blood clot or not?
Answers:
The singular way you can find out if it is a blood clot is to have an Ultrasound.
More than likely you in recent times hit your leg hard enough to have the bruise.
Are you competent to flex your feet back and forth and up and down without distress - is there any swelling or redness?
If you notice that the stomach-ache is getting worse you really should go to an ER because if by some chance it is a clot - it can be very chancy and break off and travel to your lungs.
