What is this lower support throbbing I am experiencing and how can I return with rid of it?

I've been having lower back torment for about 8 months or so now and I'm not sure how to get rid of it. I try stretching but it hurts it even more. I go to the doctor and they aren't sure what the problem is. It hurts on one side or both and sometimes it shoots into one of my legs. Medicines only relieve it for a short period of time and i try using ice and/or steam once in a while. If you can tell me how to get rid of it, or simply what the problem is, that would be great. Thanks!

i can't diagnose you, but i can impart you some advise from my own experience.

1. if you are having the pain. DO NOT hold on to exercising. you need to give your back time to alleviate and any inflammation to subside, essentially your back will be sore for way longer.

2)once your back if in close proximity normal again, bring in the back stretches again.
do these:

and the cat strech from this: http://www.lower-back-pain-answers.com/l…

3) Go see a chiropractor. in combination of streching and visits to the chripopractor, most of my own posterior issues have reduced massively Source(s): i'm a 26 year old male, who experiences lower rear issues, especially when exercising.
i'm also a nurse
