Sparing details, oxycodone 5mg, methadone 10mg....
which is stronger in relieving pain
and which is more sedating

deftinly oxycodone i dont know how much pain u have but 5 mgs is not like mad of oxy tho doc knows best tho he probly wants to start u off low so u can give somebody a lift more when u build a tolerance. and which is mopre sedating they are both have the same sedative effects maby not so much at the low dose tho
Oxycodone works pretty well, said to own more side effects than methadone though. Methadone works great, but is generally only prescribed to geriatric patients because of the increased risk of abuse.

10 mg methadone definitely stronger, and also more sedating, but if you hold a high tolerance for opiates, it may not sedate you at all. It's realy concrete to come off methadone and oxy's, but I guess you know that already. Source(s): 20+ years clean & sober
