Why does my knees hurt when I stand for a long time of time?
I'm 17 and I've never really gotten injured on my knee. But I've recently been have a lot of pain on my right knee when I stand for more than four hours. Then soon my vanished ankle starts throbbing and my right heel will hurt like crazy. I do have flat foot though, but I where shoes next to arches.
I stand this long for my job, so getting a char is not really an option.
Thanks for all and any advice=]

It might be lymphoma, my girlfriend have similar problems with her legs if she stands for too long, in her case it's heritable so you might want to ask your parents. If the pain gets too severe I'd recommend seeing a doctor and having them hold a look at it.
OK not lyphoma!
The most common cause of this is a misalignment within your foot. This causes your feet to be in an awkward angle and this transfers to the knees.
I would recommend seeing a chiropractor. Tell them your feet hurt also, because some chiropractors only look at the place where it is hurting. A foot adjustment should relief your pain. I have helped numerous ancestors with these exact symptoms.
In addition, I would recommend getting some arch supports. Start out with Dr, Scholls. This will serve support your arch and then you should not have as much pain.

Having flat foot misaligns your back, knees and hips. So, in short, that's the answer. If you over-pronate your knee problems are exacerbated.
If you need to correct your flat feet (you'll have to do various exercises for a short amount of time...and it's free!), contact me k.sordo(a)gmail.com. I've already help several individuals with this.
