What cause agony surrounded by the lower knees and upper tibia?
The area of my left leg that is located between the lower knees and upper tibia has been hurting the past few days. The torment only occurs sharply if I stand on my toes or if I go up stairs. Now the headache has shifted to about an inch lower from that area next to the same amount of pain. The pain can also go down less sharply if I walk quickly.
It have been suggested to me that it is possible growing pain. Also, I wasn't sure if it is related to a drastically small hairline fracture that had healed in the middle of my disappeared tibia in the spring.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Carolyn,
Since you mentioned growing pains, I would take it that you are between 12- 16. This is the time that Osgood Schlatters disease develops surrounded by that area. This means that part of the bone is individual pulled away by the muscle. It is a common condition and once diagnosed they tell you to limit your flurry. It will heal itself.
I would go to a chiropractor/doctor and have them transport an x-ray to confirm. It may be something else, but this sounds like it exactly.
I wish you the best Source(s): I'm a chiropractor
