If I were you I wouldn't stir over the dosage it says on the bottle. I wouldn't take but two. Then I would put an ice pack on it for 20 minutes every 3 to 4 hours. The rime will help reduce the swelling. When you put the ice pack on your wrist, place a washcloth or small towel between your wrist and the rime pack. Also elevate it, especially at night.

If it were me, I probably would, but the right thing for me to tell you is no. I should report you not to exceed the dosage stated on the bottle. I am almost 6 foot and not a small woman, so for me it's pretty harmless. If you're petite, then you probably shouldn't take more than 2. If you enjoy any Ibuprofen you should take 2 of those instead. Ibuprofen reduces swelling.
