I enjoy a big problem...can you comfort me?
Okay so in about 6 weeks I'm scheduled to hold rods and screws removed from my back because they are becoming painful and sticking out underneath my skin. The problem is I hold self harm scars all up my thigh. Not a ton, but at lowest 10 noticeable ones. They are about my skin tone, but you can still tell in that is a scar. I've stopped now...haven't done it in a few months, but I'm panicky they will stop the surgery because they might see scar's.
What do you think will happen? They can definitely see they are feeble, but I never told anyone; I'm better now.

You could try covering them near foundation or concealer.
they might ask about them [if they see them], but since you stopped and the scar are old they wont like put you in rehab or something lol
They will not stop the surgery for this. They may ask you where they come from but you don't have to answer.
With that said, even though the scars are old and you enjoy stopped, I suspect that you're now doing something else in its place and I urge you to talk beside someone. Even if it's me and I'm not a counselor by any means...just a mom. :-)

If you need the rods and screws removed then this will be done regardless of their note self harm scars. The worst thing that will transpire is that you will be asked about this, and you will respond with the truth, which is I had a problem beside self harm at one time, but this has not been an issue for ___________(enter time period)
If they are doing a complete undertaking, there may be a discussion of whether you should be referred for counseling because there may be a fear that the stress of surgery may make happen this old behavior to erupt again. If they do, let them send you.
