Oxycontin surrounded by system since surgery?

I took a 20mg pill of Oxycontin last night(tuesday) for pain. I am having surgery at twelve noon on Friday. Will that effect me in any way because of the anesthesia? It will be about 48 hours between the time the med wore bad and the surgery. Is that enough time to make sure it won't effect me during surgery?
Answers:
You will be fine. Doctors actually are not mostly bothered by that kind of drug in your system. It's drugs that affect the clotting properties of your blood, blood pressure, etc that they worry something like.

Anyway, oxycodone and other drugs of that type are generally completely out of your system in about 48 hours.

And upright luck with the surgery. (I've had three ankle surgeries and one wrist surgery--I'm a ballet dancer. It's a hazardous sport! Haha.) Anyway, I hope it goes well for you
Yes, it will be out of your system by then. No worries.
