I remember reading about milk being a home remedy but it's to soak the stung area surrounded by milk.not drinking the milk. LOL. I think it had more to do with submerging the bite contained by a cold liquid like ice hose down but I guess ice cold milk will do the same. Applying ice numbs the backache and slows the spread of the toxin.
