Omg I have the exact same problem. Volleyball is killing me! But what I hold been doing is drinking alot of water and eating bananas that aparently help take the acid out or what ever and also I take hot baths. And I am response like wayy better. Hope that helps Source(s): HS vollyball player
2 full-size glass of water, a hot bath/shower and message (can massage yourself adjectives over but the back), then an Advil in the morning if necessary.
Soreness is inflamation due to increased production of lactic bitter, a by product of metabolism. Flushing this acid out of your muscles via message and water intake allows for it to get flushed out through urine. The Ibuprofin (Advil) is your finishing resort in case you're still sore, by acting as an anelgesic and an anti-inflamatory agent. If you do the first part right, you wont necessitate the advil in the a.m.
The best thing to do is stretch and stay all right hydrated! Ice will also help especially if your joints (knees, ankles, etc) are bothering you. Source(s): I've been involved contained by sports all my life, and I'm a med student now.
Cold bath would relief. Eating right too. Not hot baths - they'd encourage bleeding from ur muscles, the cold will flush out the lactic acid. It may be inevitable though, especially if your body is not used to it nonetheless.
