Do you stop growing when you sleep overdue?

I'm 14 right now and I've been sleeping at 12 or over every day, but I still return with atleast 10 hours of sleep. I'm about 5'5 and I only grew an inch or two in 2 years. Is here a problem here?

its inheritance. you only become a few inches taller than your parents max. but i heard you can get taller by sleeping next to your back straight
It doesn't matter at which time you are going to sleep. Sleeping late doesn't affect growth. Just make sure you're drinking properly and you have ample of calcium. Practicing yoga, going swimming, or playing basketball are al helpful for growing taller as they are each stretching exercises. If you are interested surrounded by playing basketball, this is right up your alley. This will help you for sure; there is without question about it.
You never stop growing...until you reach full grown size..
Im 12 years old and I usually stir to sleep at around 2am. I also get around 10 hours of sleep. Im 5'4" and Ive grown around 4 or 5 inches in the last 2 years.

The certainty is you are still growing until you become around 30 years old. Sleeping late doesn't affect growth, but you are loosing brain power and energy no business how many hours you sleep. Source(s): My doctor told me this.
No, you do not stop growing when you sleep late... ;P

Are you a girl, or a guy? If you're a girl, you probably won't end up growing much more, while if you are a guy, you'll probably enjoy another growth spurt or two.

If you don't end up growing much more by the time you are 16, maybe you'd want to see a doctor.

Other than that, I see no problem here :D
It's genetics, not sleeping habits, that determine height for the most section. Just make sure you're eating right and you have plenty of calcium.
when you get older than that your going to be staying up late
but i say-so if your parents are small then your prob. are going to be small to Source(s): i failed bio
no everyone grows at diffrent rates. also if u are sleeping alot make sure your are getting exersice as well this will serve you grow.
you get a little shorter throughout the sunshine and when you sleep, it grows you back. I read it somewhere in an article but, you start to slowly grow back from 11:00-1:00 i believe. I don't conjecture there's a problem since you're getting 10 hours of sleep which is alot.
it doesn't matter when you move about to sleep, as long as you get enough hours of sleep your growth wouldn't be stunted. you're okay.
Sleeping late has nothing to do next to how much you've grown (or not grown)..
