*REPOST* Lower leg aching, including knees?

2 weeks ago I started exercising and stretching for the splits, like dance mat and jogging. After something like a week, the lower part of my legs started aching (mainly the sides) when I jumped, walk up AND down the stairs, and ran. My knees have started to ache aswell (a few month ago I fell into the stairs next to my left knee just beneath kneecap, and now everytime I squat and get up, it kind of crunches). So anyway I stopped exercising for a few days, iced adjectives parts of lower legs and TRIED to start again today, but I can't even jump now, and the pain seem to be getting a little bit worse. Suggestions?

see your doctor for diagnosis and medication and then a physiotherapist for some exercises
by doing the splits, you have pulled or torn your muscles which
are within the buttocks and go down the legs.
i suggest you go to gp and see them.
for time being embezzle paracetamol.
i dont think you stretched correctly cause lactic acid to build up when doing your dance/jogging which starves the blood and muscles of oxygen,

it should go away after time, take discomfort relief until then
Hi. I am a podiatrist and I can tell you, without a shadow of a doubt, you own overworked either your tibialis anterior (outside of your shin bone) or tibialis posterior (inside of shin bone). Quite possibly, also the place where a nerve punctures a sheet of 'waterproof membrabe' call a fascia. On the inside of the shin, about a third of the way up the shin, the nerve go from being deep in the leg, thru the fascia, and afterwards becomes superficial. If the foot pronates / rolls in, the puncture hole gets stretched down and squeezes on the boldness and gives a 5c piece size *really* painful spot. You need to see a podiatrist.
