Answer: It does sound similar to staph. That is nothing to mess around with. Plus if you are not wash your hands and it is staph. You are spreading it arould to everyone alse..
sounds like an surrounded by grown hair they can be painful. if you want to minister to it along you can put hot towels on it. microwave a wet washcloth for 20 sec. and when able to touch place on till it cools. repeat if obligatory.

Squeeze everything you can out of it and put antibacterial oil on it. Sounds like staph infection. Go to the DR for antibiotics. And disinfect everything you touch or it can spread.
Try warm drizzly compresses and let it drain then use a small gauze wipe not a band aid daily and maybe a bit of peroxide if it doesn't improve go see your Dr. squeeze the hell out of it!
