(HELP) Do You Know What this could be??
My boyfriend has come out in this chance rash its all over his facade & body. Its been there for something like 4 months and just keeps getting bigger and spreading. It started past its sell-by date as a tiny wee burn on his hand & then eventally spreaded over his body. It is itchy,red and thers even this abnormal watery stuff coming outta it. Its all go scabby now to and it hurts him really badly, i abhor seen him unwell.
Weve been to the doctor rake of times they say its impitigo but isnt impotigo really contageous? Ive been near him everyday so why havent i caught it too?
If any of you know what this could be or tell me stuff bout impotigo & why i havent caught it please leave a comment thank you
Answer: Impetigo is contagious ( or is it infectious, i carry them mixed up)
If that is what the doctor said it is , then you've no purpose to disbelieve him, Use the medication given and DONT share a towel with him.
Why have you be rakes of times? Once should be enough, to be diagnosed, and medicated. If he is using the meds properly and is still not getting your strength back, then go to a different doctor for a second evaluation, he may need to see a specialist if the second doctor disagrees with the first.
Dont hand down itany longer, this is not right, do something now.
Impetigo is a contagious bacterial infection caused by staphylococcus. It's spread by contact... Impetigo is treated next to antibiotics orally and topically. Just wash your hand regularly and minimise skin contact. Just watch out for any lesions. Even though it is contagious, you won't necessarily seize it. I would trust the doctor but if they are wrong then maybe it is shingles. Go to another doctor and ask their assessment and if they say it is impotigo too ask if it is contagious and why you have not caught it. Remember, you may be vaccinate for it..
He needs to go hindmost to the Dr and ask again!! Most surgeries have a different Dr, so make an appointment to see him or her. It could be cellulitis which is severe and he will entail a long course of anti biotics. That makes the skin look very red and sore and can spread. So pls bring him back. never even heard of this past, but i looked it up and this is what i found hope it helps at all

i'm not much of a relieve, but have the doctor treat it. :] i'm really sorry to hear that about him though and best of luck Impatigo is red and close to dry and raw and then go * and then goes scabby
so it could be approaching that and you can get cream for it:D

have he dose something diffence in the last 4 months be around plants or eat something diffence wearing diffence close ot something Unsure, but recommend that both of you become proactiv in both of your form then passive. Found its mode better because then you need to progress unnecessary parts or whatever they are called..
Check out his symptoms at WebMD to me it sounds more resembling shingles than impentigo. Has he ever had chicken pox? If you have have a shot against chicken pox you may not get shingles but sometimes you do. It's a long shot, but I used to get adjectives manner of rashes contained by all sorts of places until we stopped using fabric conditioner.
impetigo is really contagious it could be sorieses travel to another doctor and get a second opinion It's any that or he keeps playing in poison ivy..
stir and see a different doctor, and google for symptoms
