Help! How do I treat a spider bite?
My fiancé has several "lumps" of very sturdy skin on his arm and hand... He said one was from 10 years ago when he get bit by a house spider, and the others look exactly the same. He's been to the doctors once, and they said to use a verucca cream. This hasn't worked on any of them! Any suggestions?
Answer: I estimate he's having you on . ! What he seems to own is overgrowths of skin that resemble warts and suchlike . hence the verucca cream. .
Heya,
There is two types of treatment depending upon whether it was a poisonous spider bite or a non poisonous spider bite ive put both down please use the one that applies to you and shame the other one:
Treating Poisonous Spider Bites
Although the symptoms of the brown recluse and black widow spiders are different, the initial treatment will be the same.Wash the nouns with soap and water.
Apply rime or a cold washcloth to the area.
Apply an antibiotic lotion or cream.
Give acetaminophen, if necessary for strain.
For brown recluse bites, elevate the site of the bite if possible.
Seek on the spot emergency treatment.
Medical Treatments. At the hospital or doctor's office, the bite will be evaluated to see if additional medical treatment is crucial.
For black widow bites, antivenin may be administered.
For brown recluse bites, treatment can include corticosteroids or surgery of the bite area.
In both cases, hospitalization may be called for.
Treating Nonpoisonous Spider Bites
How your body reacts to the bite can be an indication of what type of spider it was. Nonpoisonous spider bites typically show swelling, flush, pain and itching. In these cases, you can treat the bite the same route you would treat any other insect bite.
Clean the wound.
Apply ice or a cold washcloth.
Apply calamine lotion, baking soda paste or over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream.
Make sure your tetanus shot is current.
One of the biggest risks of spider bites can be anaphylactic shock. Symptoms usually begin with breathing difficulties, abdominal discomfort, cramps, vomiting and diarrhea. Swelling of the lips, tongue, ears, eyelids, palms of the hands and soles of the foot may also occur. If any of these symptoms occur, send for 999/911 immediately.
Hope i helped
xx.
If you reflect on it's a spider bite, treatment would have to be given immediately and it adjectives depends on what kind of spider he has be bitten by.
The lumps he has been vanished with could have be caused by an allergic reaction to the bites.
I must plead guilty, I have never heard of verrucas on arms previously, but that doesn't mean it can't happen.
I would suggest he get a second opinion.
Hope this helps.

USE SOME FORM OF ANTI-BACTERIAL CREAM FOR A START TO TRY & STOP THE RISK OF INFECTION.
ALSO USE A LITTLE ANTI-INFLAMITARY CREAM..
You could try freezing them bad, you could get your nurse to do it or buy the 'wand thing' yourself. Could just be deformity tissue...see a dermatalogist..they can tell you whether to remove them or ignore them..
dont know but bite it put a bet on
