Help me numeral out why I hold appendage twinge.. (picture)
Hey guys, I have a bit of trouble. My right hand (I am gone handed) is often numb, and when I bend my fingers, they sort of make a "creaking" rumbling. Also, when I extend my elbow, I hear a snap/grind/crack noise. I am thinking this is all related to my individual a former professional gamer, I used to travel the country playing for money. I played about two hours a day. I held my controller differently than most, and I reckon this is what caused my hand spasm.

I would hover my finger over the buttons sort of like that. It hurt if I did it too long, but it gave me a distinct help, so I got used to it.
What kind of injury to you judge that would cause? I did this about 2 hours a daylight for 2 years...
Thanks so much for reading and answering,
ryan
Answer: RSI!
A repetitive strain injury (RSI), also called cumulative trauma disorder (CTD), occupational overuse syndrome, or work related upper appendage disorder (WRULD), is any of a loose group of conditions resulting from overuse of a tool, eg. computer, guitar or knife, or other activity that requires repeated movements. It is a syndrome that affects muscles, tendons and nerves contained by the hands, arms and upper back. The medically agreed condition in which it occurs is when muscles contained by these areas are kept tense for very long period of time, due to poor posture and/or repetitive motions.
