Help near Calf Cramps?
When I go for a walk at lunch time or even tramp from my office to my parking lot in the afternoons, my calves obtain really, really cramped and hurt. I even try stretching a bit before I go but it doesn't backing.any suggestions or explanation?
Answer: Do you take any source of duretics? It could be lack of potassium. ask your dr if you call for KLORCON especially if you take duretics, such as lasix.
Stand facing a wall, put one foot as verticle as possible against the wall and lean into the wall for a comforting stretch. This works the back of the leg. To work on the different side, find something to slip your foot under and flex your foot upward. Wow. Your office have a really cool policy on bringing pets to work. Mine won't allow a goldfish, let alone small cattle.
Maybe if you let them graze for a while during the morning they won't cramp up at midday..
In add-on to the ones above, try stretching after the walk, too. Your potassium levels could be low, my grandma have that problem and she had calf cramps like that.
