Help really startled (doctors answers appreciated)?
im 14 and ever since i remember i had this half golf orb size lump on my leg and i got it checked out and my docter said they will call if its serious and they never call back. im extremly scared it could be a tumor. if it is will they possible hold to remove my leg or something so it dosent spread.its very hard and dosent come across to change in size. when i get exrays my doc said it looks like extra cartlidge...could this be?it dosent hurt at all and im completely healthy and active and involved within alot of sports...plz help

Carl- NEVER EVER accept the answer that they will telephone call if something is wrong.NEVER. Doctor's offices are very busy and your examination results can easily be misplaced or overlooked. CALL THE DOCTOR tomorrow and ask for the results. Have your mom call if you regard this would be more effective.I know it's gross but I enjoy really wan mucus running out of my snout?
Voice your concerns first to your parents. It doesn't hurt to get a second or even third judgment. In order to really know what this is, the doctor would have to pinch a sample of it and do a test or what is call a biopsy to see what it actually is. A doctor that specializes in sports tablets or orthopedics would be the way to go freshly because you are very active contained by sports. Well you didn't right to be heard how long ago you got it checked out. Generally it takes around a week to get the results back from your doctor's organization. If you haven't heard from them by now, there's zilch wrong with calling them and following up. Let them know you had a experiment and never heard the results. They'll be more than happy to any call you back or detail you the results right then and there.dont worrie bout it because it could be a short time ago a fatty tumor and alot of people have these includeing myself.
I hold one located on the right side of my back the size of a base globe for the last twenty years, It dont bother me and i dont bother it.

the fact that it is not getting larger is a suitable sign. call your doctor's office and see if they only just had a miscommunication concerning who was supposto beckon you. it is very unlikely that they would remove your leg...very unlikely.Does anyone know why this is occurring?
It could lately be that or a fatty cyst or tumor, which is safe. Don't jump to conclusions purely yet. If it has be there for a long time that is what it probably is. Good luck to you. No communication is good news.I would obtain a second opinion.
