Hip replacement?
Hi, My mum is going to go in for a hip replacement how long will she be capable of walk again? and how long will she be in hospital for?
Cos I want to trademark sure everything is clean and tidy for her going in and coming out? I scrounging the house so that she does not have to do any housework for while she is in and when she comes home from hospital?

aww thats enormously thoughtful of you, well done! i have a friend who is have surgery on her hips (not the same procedure but similar) and i think she is out of use for a few months (sorry i cant be of more help but i dont know much about it) conceivably you could get your friends to help you out a bit because she definately wont be disappearing her bed that much for atleast a few weeks! x x xAre vicoden and oxycodone, different when it come to a ua, do they show up as different drugs?
She'll be up and walking with a frame the day after her op and afterwards 2 sticks from the day after that until she feels comfortable to use purely 1 stick and then none at all (this should hold about 2 months). As for the stay in hospital, this should solely be a maximum of one week, sometimes a day or two earlier if they are doing really ably!
