How can I help alleviate osteoarthritis pain other than pills or creme?

Answer:    Here are some simple but effective ideas to help you and can vouch for them as I use them every day depending on my pain levels at the time
Some plain old paracetamol - 2 of in the morning will get you a long way thru the day.
Also have found 2 ginger tablets - sometimes sold as travel calm or nausea relief per day
2 non - acid vitamin c tabs or 1000 mg per day
And for the arthritis - 1500 mg of glucosamine sulphate or if you can tolerate it and are not on anti-clotting meds take the one with the chonditron in it
Last but not least use a wheat bag or hot water bottle on your joints to help with extreme pain and pace yourself with what you do each day.
Move around as much as possible but also have short rest breaks too.
Good health to you
.
A heating pad or blanket will help. Aquaerobics helps. Massage by a trained person. I have a neck thing that is heated in the microwave that I put on my neck or other parts of my body. It is made with cloth and rice and I put lavender in it. That feels so good.
