I got punched in the obverse and my braces cut my lip open. Now my scar is not exactly a mutilation, but some skin is overlapping another, it is making me really self conscious. My friend suggested Vitamin E, but I don't see how that will help my overlapping skin. All answers are appreciated! :)

Probably the best thing for you would be to enjoy a "Scar revision". Normally, this is performed by a plastic surgeon; can be in his organization, but preferably in an out-patient facility. He will numb your lip with a tiny, tiny nozzle and you won't feel a thing! You are correct; vitamin E will not do anything for an overlapping skin label. Good luck to you.
